Cats' ConunDrum

Cats' ConunDrum
$50.00
for reed quintet
Duration: ca. 6’ 30”
Program Note: When workshopping ideas for this piece with Paradise Winds, there were quite a few furry friends quietly observing our rehearsal. "Cat" is a word used to refer both to felines and jazz musicians, so it felt like a fitting word to include in this piece's title. I imagine that this work could be performed with percussion as well, hence the play on words. The structure of "Cats' ConunDrum" is designed to feel like a jazz head interspersed with soloistic sections.
