Program Note: I love to look up at the stars, and I find it fascinating that every culture has its own story about how the stars got there in the first place. In each movement of the piece, I tried to capture the stars' enchanting nature, their beauty, and the playfulness of millions of stars twinkling in the night sky.

Story of the Stars received 1st Place Nationally in the Music Teachers National Association Composition Competition in 2013.
