Program Note: There is something magical about flicking on a lighter or striking a match. "Ignite" captures this sudden burst of energy, the strange calm that happens immediately after the tiny explosion, and the dance-like motions of a fragile flame.

Ignite was written for the Koinonia Trio in January 2018.
